Donny van de Beek has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan with an option to make his move permanent.

Eintracht have paid united  a minimal loan fee and are covering the majority of Van de Beek’s £125,000-a-week wages. Eintracht have the option to buy Van de Beek, 26, for €11million (£9.55m), with €3m (£2.6m) in add-ons.

The move is the second loan for Van de Beek during his time at United after he spent a forgettable five months with Everton two years ago.

Summer transfer window is always an exciting period to acquire some special services and Madrid are very excited to announce the signing of Turkish Sensation, arda guler.

Real Madrid have signed 18-year-old soccer sensation Arda Güler from Turkish side Fenerbahçe, the Spanish club announced on Thursday.

Güler is one of the most highly sought-after prospects in the sport and his signing was rumored to be a contest between numerous big-name teams.

But Real eventually won the race to add his talent and potential to its squad, with Güler signing a six-year contract with the club.

At his official unveiling with his visibly emotional family in tow, Güler expressed his excitement at signing for the historic club, leaping to the lectern next to club president Florentino Pérez before the Los Blancos supremo was finished with his speech.

Güler then shared a brief comment: “First of all, thank you to my family, to the people who have helped me get to this point and to this club. I also want to be a legend of Real Madrid. Thanks for everything.”

Güler’s low center of gravity, close control and ability to dribble in tight spaces – as well as his preferred position on the right side of the pitch to allow him to cut in on his stronger left foot – have earned him comparisons with Argentine great Lionel Messi, with fans dubbing him the “Turkish Messi.”

He has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Fenerbahçe over the past 12 months, having made his first-team debut in 2021 as a 16-year-old – he provided an assist on his debut giving fans a glimpse of what was to come.

He scored six goals in 35 appearances over the 2022/23 season, helping Fenerbahçe to a Turkish Cup victory with a performance for which he was named Man of the Match.

According to stats website Opta, Güler created 40 goalscoring chances – one every 23 minutes – over the last season which is the best average on record by a player in a Süper Lig season since 2014/15.

Güler is also a part of the Turkish national team squad, making his debut as a 17-year-old.

Since then, he has earned four caps and scored his first international goal for the senior team in his last game, curling home a stunning effort against Wales in a European Championship qualifier.

In doing so, Güler became the youngest player in his country’s history to score for the national side at just 18 years and 114 days old.

He will now compete for a spot in Real’s starting team alongside a host of talent, including Vinícius Jr. and Rodrygo in the frontline and the team’s exceptional midfield group which has added Jude Bellingham to go alongside Toni Kroos, Luka Modrić, Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni.

The excitement of his arrival in Madrid has seemed to permeate to the dressing room with Real star Vinícius Jr. tweeting: “Yet another who chooses the greatest.”

Barcelona have confirmed Inigo Martinez will join the club on a free transfer from Athletic Club.

La Blaugrana have long been linked with a move for the 32-year-old, who has played 357 La Liga games across spells at Athletic and Basque rivals Real Sociedad.

Martinez has now agreed a deal to join Barcelona and will put pen to paper on a two-year contract shortly.

A statement from Barcelona read: “An agreement has been reached between FC Barcelona and Inigo Martinez for the player to join the Club after his contract with Athletic Club ended.

“The player is set to sign a two-year deal that ends on June 30, 2025, with the release clause set at 400 million euro.

“The Club will provide further details about Inigo Martinez’s presentation as a new first team player in due course.”

Martinez will become Barcelona’s second signing of the summer window following the free transfer of Ilkay Gundogan from Manchester City. They ousted competition from Arsenal to secure the German’s signature.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has revealed that the club have received offers for eight players, while talks are ongoing with Tottenham over the permanent sale of Clement Lenglet.

Guler made his senior debut for Fenerbahce in August 2021 and became the club’s youngest ever Super Lig goalscorer later that season against Alanya.

Since then, the attacking midfielder has gone from strength to strength, earning himself the coveted number 10 jersey at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium at the start of the 2022/23 campaign – a season in which he’d make 31 appearances for the club.

The 18-year-old’s most telling contribution for the club came in the Turkish Cup final in June, when his man of the match showing guided Fener to a 2-0 win over Istanbul Basaksehir.

These wonderful performances have caught the eye of some of Europe’s top clubs, and 90min can confirm that Real Madrid and Barcelona have made bids for his services during the summer transfer window.

The two rivals were willing to go above the player’s release clause at Fenerbahce in order make a move happen, with both bidding around €20m – a fee which would be paid in instalments.

Real Madrid believe that Guler has opted to accept a move to the Santiago Bernabeu over Barcelona, with sources stating that chief scout Juni Calafat has had a major role in him choosing Los Blancos.

Calafat has been key to a number of recent signings for Real Madrid, being noted as playing a huge role in Jude Bellingham’s decision to sign for the club earlier this summer too. The midfielder was snapped up by Los Blancos in June, signing a six-year deal at the club after Real Madrid agreed to part with more than €100m to Borussia Dortmund for his services.

Guler and Bellingham are set to join a Real Madrid squad full of young talent, with the likes of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes, Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni already on the books.

Reports understands that the Gunners are keen to bolster their options at the back, with Mikel Arteta interested in Timber. The Dutch international makes a lot of sense considering his versatility, something that Arteta has consistently made no secret of his admiration for in the past.

Arsenal have reportedly agreed an initial €42million (£36million) transfer fee to sign Ajax defender Jurrien Timber. The deal could rise to €47million (£40million) if additional add-ons are met.

The report states that the Gunners have now reached a verbal agreement on a fee with Ajax, having already tied up personal terms on a ‘lucrative’ contract with Timber this week. All that remains before a transfer can be completed is a medical and paperwork.

Unai Emery is going back to his former side to bring the 26-year-old to the Premier League in a deal that will cost Villa around £45m.

 Torres has a release clause of €70m (£60.4m) but it’s understood Villa have negotiated terms to suit them paying over a longer period of time so their initial payment falls below the release figure.

When the deal gets finalised – which is expected to be within the next 48 hours – Torres is set to undergo a medical and agree personal terms, which are not expected to be a problem.

Torres has been associated with Villarreal for 21 years, coming through the club’s academy before breaking into the first team and forming part of the side which won the Europa League under Emery in 2021.
