PSG closing in on €20m deal for new goalkeeper
Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on a €20m (£17m) deal to sign Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Safonov is the No 1 at Krasnodar, who finished second in the Russian top flight this season, and has 13 caps for Russia.
Keylor Navas is set to leave PSG this summer, while Gianluigi Donnarumma is their current first-choice ‘keeper
Matvey Safonov is in Paris and will have his medical examination soon, according to information from RMC Sport. The 25-year-old goalkeeper has been given the green light by FK Krasnodar to travel. A total agreement exists between the two clubs. A sum of around 15 million euros excluding bonuses is being mentioned.
